Alela Diane has a new record and I absolutely love it. Somewhere along the line I became a country fan, likely it was alt country music as we see with this artist. Who's Keeping Time? is dragon level awesome, a delicious jolt of Americana that I really needed right now.

I've been loving me some NYC indie folks scene lately and, at the top of my list, is Frankie Cosmos. Her latest is called Different Talking. I love the honesty of the whole thing. People are like this, feel this way and think this way.

Gillian Welch is an American treasure. Her latest is called Woodland and it's the perfect fall album. It just slides over you like a cool breeze that demands snuggling with a loved one. With her partner David Rawlings, they have created a folk rock masterpiece.

Likely my favorite current female artist, Faye Webster is back with an amazing record called Underdressed At The Symphony. This album strikes me as more mystical in nature with a much deeper dive into the complexities of romance.
