My first post of the new year is going to be about a man whom I dream of being at least once a week. Morris Day! So much of his onstage and offstage persona is hilarious and amazing who wouldn't want to be him? Of course, he's from my home town so that is just the icing on the cake.
The North Minneapolis native has a new record out that is tearing up the R&B charts. Last Call might be his final release and, if it is, what a swan song! It's filled with slick grooves, a star-studded cast, and is easily his best solo effort. Ain't nobody bad like Morris!!
